Glance: Adding a Visual Component to Your Presentation

Glance® has been named to the 2008 Inc. 5000 list of the fasting growing companies in America. And I know the reason why.

Glance®, at Glance.net, offers one of the fastest, easiest, and least expensive webinar options I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen and experienced a lot of various systems including Accuconference, GoToWebinar, GatherPlace.net, Elluminate and others. I think all of these companies offer outstanding products — don’t get me wrong.

But Glance®, a simple, easy-to-use desktop sharing application is absolutely unbelievable. It’s the “zen” version – frustration free. You can be up and running in less than 15 minutes which I proved the other day when I was doing some research for a client.

Now this system doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that some of the other systems have, but when you need to do a web demo, put on a webinar, or do other online activities that require that others see your screen, Glance® is one of my top choices.

You can host up to 100 guests very inexpensively. For participants, they don’t need to hassle with downloading any software on to their computer. They only need connect through their computer browser. As the presenter, you will need to download some software – but you only do it once.

While I don’t always think that adding a visual component is a good idea for most teleseminars (it’s much too distracting to the average teleseminar participant) — and I’ll cover that in an upcoming post — I do believe that if you are doing training where desktop visibility is of critical importance, consider trying Glance®.

I’ll review more detail around this product in future.

Oh and a couple more things … you can even brand your name into the link that you create to access your webinar. And, their customer service is fast and friendly.
